When a Doctor Removes the Wrong Ovary, That's Reason to Sue

A woman recently filed a medical malpractice lawsuit in Marin Superior court against her gynecologist. The woman claims that she underwent surgery so that her doctor could take out her right ovary and Fallopian tube because of a risk of rupture or cancer. The problem? The left ovary was taken out.
